Honeymooning in Bohol Beach Club

After finishing our honeymoon and popping into El Nido for the past few months it’s been tough to get a few days all to ourselves without the stress of starting our own business. Fortunately for us we had the privilege of being hosted by Bohol Beach Club (which we found through Agoda) for a couple of days while we attended our friends’, TJ and Paul’s gorgeous wedding next door! Casa Giralda Banos

Even with the Pope’s arrival in Quito and his few days in Ecuador it seemed like much of the Ecuadorian population was in Banos. When we rolled up into Casa Giralda Banos we were surprised at how busy the pools were and how many people there were. There were mainly Ecuadorians though we ran into a few foreigners who were also enjoying the pools in the hotel that had water coming directly from the thermal waters of the mountain. Bird Garden Guesthouse- A treat for birders in the city

We came into the Quito and rolled into a quite part of La Mariscal and were happy to have checked into Bird Garden Guesthouse. As beginner birds we were impressed with the bird photography concept of the hotel. There were so many beautiful photos taken by Roberto and Lorena the owners who are both professional national guides. The room we were booked into was #7 and had a nice double bed and an extra large single bed. All of our luggage fit nicely into the huge closet and we had a lot more space than we needed.
