Bird Garden Guesthouse- A treat for birders in the city

We came into the Quito and rolled into a quite part of La Mariscal and were happy to have checked into Bird Garden Guesthouse. As beginner birds we were impressed with the bird photography concept of the hotel. There were so many beautiful photos taken by Roberto and Lorena the owners who are both professional national guides. The room we were booked into was #7 and had a nice double bed and an extra large single bed. All of our luggage fit nicely into the huge closet and we had a lot more space than we needed. Medellin’s Free Walking Tour- The beautiful, the ugly, the scars

Yearning, come to my country, see my beautiful people, shake our hands, take our hugs, see past my scars and know I haven’t been completely in charge of the history that was put in front of me but here I am, showing you the good, the bad, my city Medellin.  This was my interpretation of our tourist guide’s feelings as he walked us through his city.
