  Walking into and around a Masai village would have been an easy way create a promotional video for World Vision or any other non-governmental organization looking to further health education, water sanitation, child sponsorship or gender equality. It’s unbelievable that people still live in abject poverty given civilizations great advances, human rights advocacies, and various environmental and gender movements. A Walking Safari- Cresent Island, Lake Naivasha, Kenya

Introduction Lake Naivasha is characterized by ever-changing weather, numerous animal carcasses, leisurely walks through a private sanctuary containing giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, various gazelle, waterbuck and a multitude of birds creating a birders paradise. The lake is located on in Africa’s famous Rift Valley and is likely your first stop out of Nairobi (100 km out). Masai Mara with Lions and Eddie Murphy

The drive Most people come to safaris with the ideas of seeing cute animals in the wild. We came to see animal killings, river crossings, sexual encounters, and specific elusive animals such as leopards and cheetahs. With Eddie Murphy’s doppelgänger, Evans, as our driver we we’re sure we’d see some of those things.
